One True God: A Biblical Study of the Doctrine of God
I feel that we can learn to love God more if we learn more about Him. Sunday, September 7 I will begin Paul Washer’s book on the Doctrine of God. I have wanted to do this for a while.. but my mind easily jumps from one study to the next. I’m hoping that if others join in I will do this regularly and see it through to the end.
I downloaded the pdf from monergism.com, but it looks like you can also find it at sermonaudio.com
Contact me if you have any problems or questions.
Thank you,
Chris
I don’t have any definite plans of how to do this. Was kind of thinking a lesson a week and people can comment on what they read or other verses that might relate, how it touched them etc.
Update on 9/7: Since nobody has contacted me about this (except one) I’ll be postponing it. We will probably start in the first week of October. Leave a comment if you’re interested.
Update on 9/30: I thought it might be a good idea to check out this sermon before we get started.
I also wanted to post John 17:3
This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Update on 10/9
Since I was too lazy to take care of it all week… I’ll just say that we’re starting Sunday. Lesson 2 will begin on the 19th.
Update on 11/25
So, I’ve noticed that this has actually been getting some views lately. I had kind of given up because I hadn’t heard anything from anyone. Let me know if anyone is interested. I am studying some other things, but things can always be shifted around.
Nothing that stood out too much here. I’ve believed in the Trinity my whole life… although I probably wouldn’t know that many verses to back it up. I’ll be moving on to the second chapter unless someone lets me know that they need more time.

Hey Chris, Just wanted to leave you another place to get the study book and other books online by Paul Washer like “Truth about Man”.

Thanks Gary. That never even crossed my mind. Would have been a logical place to start. I have recently heard of Journey into the Gospel, but I haven’t heard of the Truth about Man. So, thanks again for the link.
